The art that I studied this week was “Kingdom at Hand” by Siobhan McClure. This art gallery was very interesting because it looked very religious. In other art galleries, it was very rare to see as much references to God and religion like the gallery by Siobhan McClure had. In a sense, religious people can easily relate to this type of art but on the other hand, others who are not as devoted to religion will have a hard time connecting to “Kingdom at Hand”. While studying art is not always about being able to connect to it, it is very important because it sparks interest and curiosity and therefore brings a much more intimate analyzation of the art.
